Event Overview

Criteria

We are looking for applications that leverage generative AI. Submissions can be made by academia (idea~prototypes), pre-seed (solutions that are already prototyped), seed (any emerging or mature startup with solutions in any stage beyond prototype), and public and private companies (solutions that are either pre-market or fresh in market (< 1 year). Applicants can be based worldwide but solutions should be applicable to the Japanese market.

  • Submissions

    We are calling on startups and teams that are focused on innovating healthcare delivery by leveraging AI and cutting-edge technologies. We encourage submitted ideas to be fully prototyped and ready for market entry. Submissions will close on November 8, 2023.

  • Nov. 17: Pitch Day

    Selected teams will be notified during early November. A virtual pitch day will take place during November 17 for selected finalists to pitch to a panel of expert judges and industry executives.

  • Dec. 1: Ideas Day

    The top three finalists will be invited to join the HxD Ideas Day that will be held on December 1, 2023 at the Nakanoshima Museum of Art in Osaka. Finalists will have a chance to pitch in person and network with a diverse group of industry executives and startups for new collaborative and business opportunities.

OUTREACH

Finalists from the Pitch Day will receive exposure to the HxD and i2.JPecosystems of over 100 companies, and be featured in the ACCJ Journal that isdistributed to over 3,000 members within the ACCJ community.

2nd Place: 250,000 JPY
